Children's Mental Health and Emotional Well-Being

At Swanwick Primary School we are committed to supporting the emotional health and well being of our pupils and staff. Meet our SMILERS ambassadors.

‘SMILERS’ is an initiative from Derbyshire County Council, and is an acronym to help us all to remember the things we can do – physically and mentally – to help us in our wellbeing, through all of our ups and downs. 

Our SMILERS ambassadors have been busy conducting a SMILERS survey to gather information on what the children in school know about mental health and well being. This was a baseline survey and the ambassadors are going to be working hard this year to raise the profile of children's mental health and well being.
