Pysical Education at Swanwick Primary School

At Swanwick Primary School, our aim is to give children ample opportunity for activity, games and sports. We use our Sporting Values of teamwork, self-belief, determination, passion, respect and  honesty to celebrate all achievements and sporting successes, and work to promote healthy and active lifestyles.

As a school, we love to seek out new opportunities as well as going back to the old favourites. This can be seen in exciting PE sessions including fencing, orienteering and boxercise, as well as our gymnastics, dodgeball and dance- and many more!

We appreciate that physical education, physical activity and sports are intertwining areas that all need consideration, exploration and development. Through our PE sessions, active breaks and additional clubs and competitions, all children have the opportunity to become confident and active movers.
