At Swanwick Primary School, we aim to establish a sense of belonging for every child. Understanding the past and the impact it has on the world around us is crucial.

A sense of history begins with children understanding how their world is different from the world of their parents and grandparents. As children move through the school, they learn about key periods and events from both British and world history. Through engaging lessons and quality resources, children are equipped with a knowledge and understanding of the past.
